 My
Pardon
I received my "Pardon" today Wasn’t
as hard as I thought Didn’t have to pay anything It was given to me,
on the spot
Didn’t have to beg and plead I only spoke.... From
my heart Nothing else, was needed now In a new direction, I would
start
No waiting on the President The decision wasn’t his to
make It’s from the one who died for me So I’d be free to....Partake
Partake of the love he has for me With eternal life through
Salvation Understanding.... "He" is the way Fills me with
indescribable elation
Yes, I received my Pardon today I am
free.... Like a bird soaring by Spending day’s worshiping my Lord My
wonderful Savior on high!

Do you know, that regardless of
what wrongs, crimes and sins you may have committed during your life,
there is a full pardon available and waiting for you?
It is far
more important than any pardon ever received through the legal
system.
The pardon that a judge or governor might grant can only
free you from a prison cell for a matter of months, or at best, a few
years. If you are "pardoned" from prison, the system is then finished
with you. Your free to go, and they hope they never have to be bothered
with you again. But it's not likely they will truly forget about you.
Trust me, they will always remember that you once were found guilty of
an offense, and will be eager to lock you up again if the opportunity
arises. They are not concerned that you might not have a place to go,
someone to love you, or even a friend to talk with.
When you
receive your pardon from God, it is for all eternity. Imagine that...
eternity is endless! Unlike an earthly "pardon", when God forgives our
transgressions, they are forgotten... tossed into a sea of
forgetfulness.
"I am he who blots out your transgressions, for
my own sake, and remembers your sins no more" Isaiah: 43:25
So
if a theft or murder or adultery or a drug bust happens in your
neighborhood, God won't be there making accusations to you, believing
that you must be guilty because you did these things in the past. As far
as He's concerned, there is no past before your acceptance of Him and
his gift of salvation....His full pardon to you. His pardon includes
unconditional love, a friend that can be reached anytime of the day or
night, twenty four-seven....just by calling his name, and the promise of
sharing his glorious Heavenly home.
Oh yes, there is one other
thing you get along with God's pardon.
"Though now ye see Him
not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory."
1 Peter 1:8
You can see that joy in the face of the people who
have accepted Christ as their Savior. You can feel it in the confidence
of those that know they do not have to fear tomorrow, for He is with
them.
Ever hear of our legal system granting a full pardon
automatically when you plead guilty? Well, that's what our Lord
does....you don't even have to "plea-bargain". You simply have to
recognize that you are guilty of sin, ask His forgiveness with a sincere
heart, and tell Him you need Him to be the friend you lean on. Then go
tell someone else about God's pardon.... and be prepared to feel "joy
unspeakable"!
I wish His joy for you... Wren http://www.wrensworld.com/sitemap.htm
