“These
shall make war with the Lamb,
and the Lamb shall overcome
them: for he is Lord of lords,
and King of kings: and they
that are with him are called,
and chosen, and faithful.”
Revelation 17:14 King James
Version
Jesus is not just a king.
He is the King of kings and
Lord of lords! He is the
bright and morning star and
the fairest of ten thousand.
He is Alpha and Omega, the
beginning and the end.
He is the lily of the valley,
and the beautiful Rose of
Sharon. He is the rock
of all ages, the anchor of our
safety. He is the haven
of rest when we are weary and
can’t take another step.
He is our comforter,
encourager and friend.
He Loves us when we feel that
nobody else does. He is
the very air we breathe and
most important of all, He is
our precious Saviour.
He is to be respected,
honored, exalted, magnified,
adored, cherished and obeyed.
He deserves to be happy and we
should have an eagerness in
our hearts to make sure that
what we do and say does not
bring shame or disgrace to
Him. If we are watching
something on television that
He wouldn’t watch, then we
shouldn’t watch it.
Also, if we are listening to
music that displeases Him, we
need to stop listening to that
kind of music. If we are
going places where He is not
comfortable going, we
shouldn’t go to those places.
He is Royalty and should be
treated with dignity.
Our beloved King was born in a
manger because no one had room
for Him. Sad to say that
even today there are many
people who have not made room
for Him. They may have
acknowledged that He is Jesus,
that He died for them and have
even asked Him to save them,
but they have never made room
for Him in their daily
activities and schedules.
Have you made room for Him?
Is He the King of your heart?
