When the sun sets deep within the sky
At the closing of the day
And darkness covers the earth
With the clouds that's sent our way

It's time to pause for a moment or two
Give thanks to whom it belongs
It's time to let your mind reflect back
And give praise in prayer and song.

God has given us so much beauty
As far as the eye can see
Like the flowers that burst with color
And butterflies dancing with glee.

The raindrops of water our grass so green
And the sparrows sing with delight
And the beautiful stars that shine at night
Is a very awesome sight.

So take a moment, maybe two
To say a Thank You prayer
For every blessing given by God
There's nothing that can compare.
