I asked Jesus, "How much do
you love me", and I cried,
When He spread His
arms upon the Cross, and died
For you and me
He died the death of pure love
As the Father
awaited His precious Son there above.
His
love and devotion was always hallowed
He
loved and took care of us and died in our
stead.
We shall praise His sweet name
forever, and then
When we remember all the
mercies He gave to us again.
I asked how
much He loves me and mine.
In my heart, I
hear the words of love; so divine.
Won't you
trust Him to love you too, my friend?
Into
your life; many blessings He will send.
I
asked again, Jesus, "How much do you love
me?"
He again spread His arms and said,
"Until total victory."
I knelt and wept at
His love, and forgiving reaction
Knowing my
heart, (if one compared) was only a
fraction.
I asked Jesus again, "How much
do you love me, my Savior?"
In my mind I saw
Him put His hands on a cross, to endure.
I
asked, "Why Lord?"...He said, "So you’ll suffer
no loss."
It was then I knew I would live for
Him at any cost.
