I was up on sorrow
mountain, Looking down upon my
woes, Watching every teardrop
falling, From my head down to my
toes.
 When I heard
a voice from heaven, Say, "Look up, and don't
look down." Don't you know that I have
counted, Every teardrop on the
ground?
 You know I
feel your every pain, And I feel your
heartaches too, And when you're sad, it makes
me sad, And when you're blue, I'm
blue.
 I can make
your sorrows disappear, If you'll just
believe in me. I can cast them all out one by
one, Into the depths of the deep blue sea.
 And as any
faithful father does, I'll protect you day,
by day. I'll take you in my loving
arms, And soothe your pain
away.
 Then I said,
" Father, please forgive me, For my lack of
faith in You, Because I know You are "The
Great I Am, And there's nothing You can't
do."
 I'll keep
looking up toward heaven, Until my sorrows
disappear, And if You happen to see any
teardrops fall, Then You'll see only happy
tears.
