Lord, I lay down my burdens
For there is nothing else that I can do
These burdens I carry, I place in your hand
I give them all to you

These burdens of my problems
Are so heavy inside
I don’t think I can carry them any more
For I can no longer hide.

You have much more power
More power than I
You can make them disappear
Into your starry sky.

All my burdens that I bear
You can just wrap them up like a ball
I don’t have to worry any more
Because you have taken care of it all.

Thank you Lord,
For letting me lay my burdens down
I am glad you took them off of me
You have helped me to rebound
