I have found the place I want to be
When I arrive in eternity
I want to sit at the Lord's feet
Listening to His words to me

I want to see His face, His smile
And to know what He thought all the while
As He waited for His Bride to arrive
To stand with Him at His side

I want to know what is in His heart
How He kept us from falling apart
As we wondered through this place
Waiting for the day we would see His face

I want to feel His loving, gentle touch
And see the One who loved me so much
That He would die upon a cross
I gained my life through His loss

I want to see His beautiful face
And feel His amazing grace
To watch Him smile as children play
At His feet is where I want to stay

To just sit and learn all about Him
The One who cleansed us from our sin
Who rose again to see His Father's face
Then poured out His Spirit and His grace

To look into His eyes and see the love
That the Father sent to us from above
For in Jesus is all I ever want or need
To Him alone we will bow our knee

How wonderful that day will be
When His face I will see
I pray He lets me take my place
At His feet, staring into His glorious face
