Pure Love…what does it really mean?
Is it love of children or love between husband and wife?
Is it something that can be felt or maybe even seen
Will it burn out quickly or will it become a way of life?

It’s not something that happens at a glance or happens overnight
It is not cheap, doesn’t come easy but its a beautiful thing to see
When God is involved in Pure Love, it just feels right
People married many many years, I think would agree

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not boast; it is not proud
It is not rude , it is not self seeking; wrongs are never recorded
It is long lasting, always trusts and never loud
It is pure in God’s eyes, never sordid.

Pure Love always trusts, always hopes and it will always protect
It always perseveres, never fails and will last forever
The love continues to grow, along with respect
And with God’s blessings, this love can not be severed.

Yes, this is my definition of Pure Love
I don’t accept the world’s idea of it; I prefer the Bible’s view
When I think of my wife and God, this is what I think of
Keep this in your heart and it will never grow old but always stay new.
